Headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, John Turner Consulting operates offices/fully functional laboratories throughout New England. We strategically position employees in particular geographic areas based on specific project needs. Our distribution of offices enables us to respond efficiently and effectively to our clients. This makes JTC ideally suited for clients who have projects located throughout New England and need multiple services such as environmental, geotechnical and construction observation.

We are ahead of the curve on Transportation Projects with 70+ NETTCP-certified Inspectors. JTC highly encourages and funds the training, certification, and growth of our staff. We promote obtaining certifications and proper training through many professional organizations including ICC, PCI, ACI, NETTCP, NICET, AWS, etc. We maintain registered Professional Engineers in each of the New England states and in New York.
JTC maintains a team of over 160 professionals, including project managers, construction managers/resident engineers, geotechnical and environmental engineers, HMA paving consultants and inspectors, special inspectors, materials testing technicians, and specialty technicians (infrared, floor flatness, structural investigations, etc.).

At John Turner Consulting we know that safety is a priority to be a successful team. It is our policy to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors and visitors, and at a minimum observe all state legislation and regulations. We have and will continue to maintain a safety program designed to train our employees to follow safe practices, which recognizes and corrects unsafe working conditions.
Safety is an essential part of each employee’s job. All our employees are required to participate in safety trainings, OSHA certifications, and regular toolbox talks. Many of our employees also obtain additional training, including HAZMAT, HAZ Chemicals, HAZCOM, Troxler, etc. It is also our goal to drive a positive safety culture through communication and consultation with all employees.
