JTC provided a geotechnical investigation that included subsurface investigations (cores, borings, and field CBR testing) and laboratory testing of existing pavement and subsurface materials. Subsurface investigations and associated testing procedures were in accordance with recommendations provided within the FAA Advisory Circular 150/5320-6F. JTC field CBR testing included our improved Dynamic Cone Penetrometer apparatus, utilized on this project.
