The City of Holyoke developed plans to renovate and expand an existing building to provide additional elementary education space. JTC worked with the Owner’s Project Manager to develop a field exploration program to investigate subsurface conditions below the proposed addition and within the existing pavement areas. JTC performed the following:
- Subsurface investigation
- In-situ testing
- Pavement coring and sampling
- Laboratory testing
- Geotechnical engineering analysis
JTC provided a Geotechnical Investigation Report summarizing the results of our explorations and testing and providing recommendations for support of the building addition and restoration of the existing pavement.
