JTC provided geotechnical engineering services to support the design of a new cargo holding facility at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The investigation included geotechnical soil borings within the footprint of the new building and within the pavement development areas. In-situ CBR and infiltration testing were completed to support the design of pavements and stormwater management areas.
Following the field investigation, we completed a laboratory testing program and engineering analysis of the collected data. JTC issued a Geotechnical Investigation Report providing design recommendations for building foundation, slabs, and pavements, as well as a comprehensive summary of geotechnical considerations to be incorporated into the site design and construction procedures.
