JTC is providing on-site inspection services for this wastewater treatment facility disinfection upgrade project in Burlington, VT. Our Resident Engineer is serving as full-time resident project representative to assist Wright-Pierce (the Engineer) in observing the process and quality of work.
Our scope of services as Resident Project Representative included:
- Observe the work including field checks of materials and installed equipment
- Review of the progress schedule, schedule of shop drawing and sample submittals, schedule of values, and other schedules prepared by Contractor and consult with Engineer concerning acceptability of such schedules
- Attend meetings with Contractor, such as preconstruction conferences, progress meetings, job conferences, and other project-related meetings
- Comply with site safety programs
- Serve as Engineer’s Liaison with Contractor
- Furnish periodic reports as required of progress of the work and of Contractor’s compliance
- Review applications for payment with Contractor for compliance
- Prepare Certificate of Substantial Completion
- Perform all materials testing
