Energy Auditor (New England)

John Turner Consulting (JTC) is currently seeking individuals to join their Sustainability and Energy team in the New England area:

As an Energy Auditor, you will evaluate historical energy usage in existing buildings and propose energy efficiency measures to reduce future usage. As part of a team, you will travel to the buildings to collect data and perform testing to determine actions that should be taken to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of that specific site. No two buildings are the same and each will provide the opportunity for creative problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site energy assessments and collect building data for an array of building types.
  • Collect and analyze data on energy usage, billing, equipment performance and building automation.
  • Develop detailed audit reports, including energy saving measures.
  • Assist clients in implementing energy efficiency improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with Word documents, spreadsheets, and search engines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to carry equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform physical inspections of buildings, including climbing ladders and accessing confined spaces.

Full-Time, (50% travel, 50% Hybrid Work Environment)
