John Turner

Founder and President

John is the President of John Turner Consulting, is a graduate Civil Engineer from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has over 30 years of experience in our industry. He serves as Principal-in-Charge and continues to project manage key contracts and projects. John remains active in the daily operations of JTC and hopes that clients feel free to reach out to him directly. John’s vision has steered JTC from a one-man operation in New Hampshire, to a firm of over 120 technical professionals throughout several offices in the New England, serving public and private clients throughout the Northeast.

Robert C. Henson II

Senior Vice President

Bob is a Senior Resident Engineer with over 30 years of relevant field experience. He performs QA/QC oversight, Owner’s Representative services, environmental site assessments, project management and construction monitoring. Bob has many years of experience serving as a resident engineer overseeing utility, road reconstruction, and paving projects.

Stephen C. Lanne, P.E.

Vice President of Consulting Engineering Services

Steve brings over 25 years of experience and a proven track record of providing clients practical solutions to complex geotechnical issues. He specializes in providing geotechnical design services for retaining walls, excavation support, deep foundations, underpinning, slope stabilization, and dewatering.

Judson Zachar, P.E.

Director of Geotechnical Engineering

Leading JTC’s geotechnical department, Judson has over 22 years of management, leadership, and engineering experience. Extensive geotechnical experience in hands-on applications, including design and directing subsurface exploration programs, devising soil sampling protocols, instrumentation design & installation, vibration monitoring plans and reporting, subgrade inspections, and settlement analyses on a variety of soil types. This extensive hands-on experience has led to success and efficiency in project management of million-dollar budgets of private, public, municipal, and transportation projects.

Benjamin Grigas, P.G., C.G.

Director of Environmental Consulting Services

Benjamin has been working in the environmental industry for more than 20 years as a Professional Geologist, Project Manager, Contract and Client Account Manager. He has been responsible for the management and execution of a wide range of projects including environmental assessment, remediation, industrial hygiene and environmental compliance. He has managed clients and contracts for federal, public and private clients both locally and nationwide.

Adrian Stanca

Vice President of Building Sciences

Adrian has over 35 years of environmental and laboratory management experience and is familiar with regulatory requirements related to hazardous building materials including asbestos, lead, mold, and poly-chlorinated biphenyls. Technical experience includes lead auditor for Health & Safety and QA/QC audits including design and coordination of Health and Safety programs, QA/QC programs, as well as waste management programs.

Nicholas Lisowski

Director of Pavement Management

Nicholas has 11 years of experience in project management, construction quality assurance management, and quality control management, as well as materials testing and inspections. He has expansive experience in design-build, airport rehabilitation, highway construction, and facility projects for various agencies/owners.

Darlene Daniels

Vice President of Materials Testing

Darlene has over 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. She started as the laboratory manager and within a few years was promoted to Vice President of Materials Testing, servicing the entire Northeast region. Her expertise includes construction inspection and project materials management, materials testing procedures, and quality control and quality assurance for projects throughout New England.

Asher Anderson, CCM

Director of Construction Engineering and Inspection

Supporting our regional CEI Managers and leading our Civil Support Services team, Asher has over 9 years of experience in both the design phase and during construction of projects throughout New England. Asher brings a history of working with a diverse client base on varying types of projects from small to large, focusing on assigning personnel with skill sets specific to each project scope. He brings field experience and the consideration of constructability and modern construction equipment capabilities to the Civil Support Services line as he facilitates the support of our client’s design teams with advanced drafting, 3D modeling, and GIS database integration aiding in the development of comprehensive, constructable plan sets adhering to the desired CAD standards.
